Dr. Nishiyama is a professor of Graduate School of Business and Finance at Waseda University, teaching Accounting, Corporate Finance and Financial Analysis.

Before joining Waseda University as a faculty member in 2002, he had been working as a CPA at Tohmatsu & Co., which is a member firm of Deloitte & Co. and as an independent financial consultant. He performed various kinds of projects, such as auditing, IPO consulting, M&A consulting, management control system consulting and training for managers in many Japanese companies. He is also an outside directors or audit & supervisory board member of several listed companies in Japan.

He holds a BA in Economics from Waseda University, an MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania and Doctor of Philosophy from Waseda University.

NORIHISA KOBAYASHI

After graduating from university, Norihisa joined ITOCHU Techno-Solutions. As an engineer, he developed POS, ordering, accounting, and payroll systems for convenience stores. He received the President’s Award twice for his project.

He has a deep knowledge of deep learning, an Artificial Intelligence(AI) technology, and his strength is in the design and analysis of large data processing infrastructure.

He holds an MBA from Waseda University Graduate School of Business, and is an SME management consultant and DB Specialist. Deep Learning for GENERAL and Engineer.

YUSUKE KONISHI

After graduating from university, Yusuke joined a foreign pharmaceutical company and worked for Daiichi-Sankyo. After working for a pharmaceutical company, he was appointed executive officer of a marketing research company. He engaged in business strategy of Big-Data analysis technology, and developed new business field.

Since joined the firm Waseda M&A Partner, he is in charge of M&A brokerage for hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, schools, salons and medical ventrure companues. He is also focusing on specialized consulting to maximize corporate value.

He holds an MBA from Waseda University Graduate School of Business. Appointed as a director of the medical corporation Tsubaki-kai in 2019.

YUKI ISOBEL

Yuki is the Member of the Board and SVP at WASEDA M&A PARTNERS and Executive Managing Director at a Global Internet Technology company. He has over 10 years of experiences in International Senior Leadership roles as a Member of the Board and Executive Officers (CFO/ COO/ Managing Director) held in APAC and Europe regions. His main areas of expertise are International Business Development, Investment & M&A (Corporate Finance and Venture Capital), Turnaround & Restructuring Consulting and Digital Marketing/AdTech Strategic Consulting.
Before joining the firm, Yuki held several Senior Management roles in global public companies and startup companies, mainly in Digital Marketing Technology(MarTech/AdTech), Mobile Gaming and HealthcareTech(MedTech) industries. Most recently, he was the Member of the Board and CFO (Chief Financial Officer) at one of the next unicorns in HealthcareTech. Also, he was regional Member of the Board EXCO at in a Global Professional firm headquartered in London, United Kingdom.
He holds an MBA from Waseda University Graduate School of Business and also A Quarter Finalist at IBMC (International Business Model Competition). A lecturer for entrepreneurship and innovation at JMA (Japan Management Association).

Mr. Hosokubo graduated Keio University, major in Political Science. He joined Nippon Trust Bank from April 1983, worked for 5 years at Nihonbashi Honmachi Branch, 1 year and 3 months at International Business Planning Division, International Headquarters.

In 1989, he joined Japan ASEAN Investment Co., Ltd. (renamed to Japan Asia Investment Co., Ltd. : JAIC) He engaged in venture capital investment in Japan, ASEAN, China and US etc. He appointed as President & CEO of JAIC in June 2012. He focused on revitalization project, especially Debt reduction, Business restructuring and Reinforcement of human resources.

Mr. Hosokubo established Great Asia Capital & Consulting LLC (GACC) in July 2017. In addition to management consulting, GACC is also focusing on fund procurement and M&A support for venture companies.

TOM WAKE

After graduated from university, Tom joined SBS Holdings and engaged in IT business development for 5 years. He experienced the company’s IPO and stock listing process (TSE:2384).

He established ZESTUS Co., Ltd., which operates M&A matching business specialized in internet business (Deals: Information website, Online shop, Revenue business, Affiliate site, etc.) in 2006. He has over 10 years of experiences in Web-based brokerage business.

Tom established M&A professional firm WASEDA M&A PARTNERS Co., Ltd. with MBA alumni in 2017. This new firm’s mission is to create Venture-Ecosystem and to lead Japanese venture entrepreneurs to a new way of life that means the existence of Serial-Entrepreneurs. He has published a book “M&A Exit to Become a Serial Entrepreneur” to fulfill the mission. 110 M&A brokerage contracts in total(from July 2006 to August 2019).

He holds a BS from Tsukuba University, an MBA from Waseda University Graduate School of Business. Designated as a strategic consulting partner of Mitsubishi UFJ Research & Consulting since 2011. Received the 11th M&A Forum Award Selection Committee Special Award in 2017.
